Who are we?

We are a fish farm in Romania with over 20 years of experience. Our speciality is caviar produced directly by us at our farm in Santăul Mic.

How did we start?

From the very beginning, our aim has been to provide our clients with the most pleasant experience, professionalism and advice, regardless of the size of our projects.

Since we established the farm, our priority has been to introduce these noble dishes to anyone eager to expand their culinary palette.

What do we make?

Although our speciality is caviar, we offer all the elements you’ll need for an unforgettable meal.

In addition to caviar, you can buy fresh or smoked sturgeon meat, utensils and drinks from us.

Gavella Sturgeons

We pride ourselves on the quality of life of our sturgeons.

Sturgeons are reared in pleasant conditions and fed with food
of the highest quality to ensure the quality of our products.

Gavella Farm

With an area of approx. 12000sqm of which approx. 8000sqm of water, our farm is divided into 3 areas:

  • Pre-development hall
  • Processing hall
  • The lake equipped with floating fishponds

Why our caviar is special?

We produce exclusively grade 1 caviar to ensure that whatever product you choose you will be impressed by the freshness and special taste of caviar.

Each portion of caviar and sturgeon goes through several rounds of quality control so you can be sure that the experience we offer you will be an unforgettable one.

How do we produce caviar?

Each portion of caviar is produced by us according to
traditional methods to which we only add
expertise.

When our sturgeon reach maturity, the quality of the eggs
is carefully tested, so we make sure that every portion
of caviar you’ll receive is up to our standards.

After the caviar is harvested, it goes through lengthy processes of washing, salt treatment and a selection round in which every egg that is not the correct size and colour is removed.

How do we package products?

We guarantee that any product delivered by us will reach you
fresh. An important part of the delivery process is
the packaging in which the caviar and fish are kept.

Our caviar is packed immediately after harvesting in
metal packaging and jars. This way we keep the taste
and the integrity of each portion of caviar.
